Lake Church is known as a loving and welcoming fellowship around our community and city. A big reason for that is our source of safety and security. Our best source of safety and security are our members. When we approach others to say hello and help them feel welcomed, we declare a clear message that people are important to God and to us. At Lake Church, we take needed measures to provide a safe and secure campus experience for members and guests.

One way we secure our building is by limiting the entrances on Sunday morning and having members greet and welcome everyone. These are the entrances open on Sunday mornings:

· Both west worship foyer entrances at the main parking lot.

· North main covered drive entrance near the playground.

· For handicapped/elderly needing the elevator – the glass door near the kitchen, is open from 7:45-8:45 am only

· To enter our recreation building use the second-floor doors by way of the bridge near the worship center.

Limiting the entrance helps our on-campus officer and our Emergency Response Team to focus on observing the building's interior and hallways. Given the circumstance of the tragic event in our city this week, we continue to help each other be safe and love well. Please pray for the families, students, and faculty suffering from this week’s event at Lamar High School. Pray for their healing, and for their hearts to be drawn to God’s grace and peace. Thank you for your support and understanding.
