New Group Will begin Every Tuesday

August 15th - November 7th 2023

6:30-8:00 pm, RM 100

Grief Share is a 13-week support group that meets in a small group setting to watch and discuss videos covering the steps of grief. After viewing the video, you and the other group members will spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video and what is going on in your own lives.

All the hype, busyness, preparation, excitement, and magic of the holidays is over and we are left with messy houses, returns, extra pounds, less money, putting away of all the festive decorations. Faith Baylor

Faith is a licensed professional counselor certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Her expertise includes serving survivors of traumatic crime (including sexual assault, sexual abuse and domestic violence), depression, grief, anxiety, self-harm and women’s issues.  She enjoys using art therapy techniques with clients as they begin the journey of processing difficult thoughts and feelings.  Faith, a mother of two young daughters, enjoys working with teens and adults of all ages.  As Faith works with each client, her prayer is that he/she would experience and receive the peace and healing that only God Himself provides. 

ways to pray for Impact this week

Pray for peace as many of our clients come to us experiencing extreme stress and anxiety. They need healing from pasts hurts and trauma.

Continue to lift our Impact Staff up against the risk of illness and that we may find new strength, and sour high like eagles. We will run and not get weary, we will walk and not faint.

Praise him for all the marvelous works the Holy Spirit is accomplishing here at Impact. We praise him for every small and large step a client makes forward.
